You know it’s parked there, to cool off,

 

, ie it gets recovered, then must have a tracker on it.. if it’s still there in a few days the I guess it’s cooled off and the thieving toe rags can tow it away.  
 

either way I’d be taking not only the number plate. I'd be getting the vin of the trailer and every other number on the chipper and then call the cops or hopefully the chipper has a company name on it..as well.?.

If I was in the area, I’d take it, put it in my secure yard, announce to all and sundry on social media what I’d done, so it was safe.

 

If that thing goes tonight the owner will be gutted.

 

Just seen Mark’s post, but the principle stands.
