Hello,

i am just curious if i can use water for the auxilery oiler? Or just some less expensive fluid?

Has someone experience in this?

And would i you enlarge the hole of the bolt, like shown in this video ?

I defs wouldnt try water. Dont reckon itll lubricate anywhere near enough and make you bar go nasty and rusty.

I sometimes mix bar oil down with filtered used cooking oil (wvo) or new rapeseed oil

If you want to ruin your bar, chain sprocket etc
Water will be fine[emoji13]
What size bar are you using?
I run bars up to 84".
Never needed an aux oiler.
