The forwarder is about right, but the skidder looks a tiny bit overpriced to me..

now thats 2 cracking pieces of kit, ideal for the firewood man, pull it over or out of tricky places with the skidder, and then take away all the timber in the wee forwarder. mmmm, i can here that skidder from here:thumbup1:

used to own a county 754 skidder.....but the timberjack skidder was far better, not very fast but they could pull......as for the brunett forwarder they were the most popular forest thinnings forwarder n the late 70s/80s...but they were always breaking down, am i sure the rear wheels were driven by chains n the bogies, always snapping.Outreach at Larbert used to be the main dealer up here

the brunetts a good small machine for tight areas - would still carry some timber on it for size of machine - price about right and the timberjack ok price wise could haggle a bit on that

The timber jack is a great tool although I'm sure I've seen that one on ebay before and yes I too think it's a bit rich although I see they're taking offers

 

The Forwarder looks fine too - same people - no sign of how many hours its done etc tho'
