Late for me but only a bit. Almost always after 21:30 atm, usually after 22:00. My mate is terrible. I have to plead with him to get dinner before midnight at his place. He's slow to be a twat about it now.

And no, I never hated the Queen, just the institution of the monarchy itself. It took the events surrounding the sweaty nonce Prince Andrew to make me find the various individuals distasteful. But yes, the debauchery of a busy kitchen is indeed a great place to succumb to all manner of exciting excesses. 

 

 

Actions have consequences but I'm sure that's never bothered you. I'm amazed you can type so lucidly, what with all the drugs. I bet you've never killed an Argentinian. Poof.

Your arteries would probably prefer that you lived somewhere with a Polish winter climate though I guess.

 

In the mountains in Transylvania they eat something that is basically pig fat in the winter. It's surprisingly tasty, with Pálinka, the regional plum brandy.

I've eaten it so I can't post a pic but it's cooked pork with lots of lard mixed in. It's really soft and spreadable like butter. It's sort of like a pate but far worse.

Probably not something to eat a lot of but it's a nice treat, now and again.

It was quite a few years ago now but from what I remember it was a solid piece of fat. You had to cut chunks off with a knife. A bit like Pancetta but without the meat.
