It is strange about clothign isn't it!! I own maybe four pairs of suitable hiking style boots and a coupel of goretex jackets, and a down jackets, maybe 6 fleece tops/jackets numerouse hats and gloves etc. and this includes non of my workware, its just my normal clothign collection for year round use. Some poeple actually only go outside when its snowy its seems and never at any other time of year and then they wonder why they get cold. In fact they think they are cold because of the weather when it is in fact because they are not prepared for it.

Just hit us, as our village is a P2 route, we"ll be getting no more gritting done. Apparently there are no funds for an Emergency plan, as this was spent planning for a biological attack (wtf)! Isnt politics interesting.

We are more liking to spend more on paranoia than which is more likely

Sacked work today, only a few people in the office and roads were a nightmare this morning with idiots that don't know how to drive in the snow, which makes it dangerous for us sensible people in Land Rovers.

Headed out for a drive at lunch time to get milk as Sainsburys in Godalming at 430pm yesterday had none on there shelves, bread and meat isles were the same and queue for tills was all the down the shop width.

Roads passable and headed down A3 to Milford from Godalming and it was driveable.

Few pictures i took from the window last night.

Much, as a village that is well off the beaten track, how on earth they figured Al-quiida would give a damn about us takes the biscuit. Typical waste of the tax-payers money.

Maybe they know something you dont Andy, Your village could be the home of a secret shoe bomber grooming camp OR it could be a right waste of money!!
