We did a couple of domestics yesterday, it was not snowing, but there was 3to5" on the ground and it was a real pain trying to clear up. With falling snow it will be even worse!!!

I did a churchyard prune before xmas and as much as you try to clean up it looks as though you never even bothered :001_rolleyes:

 

I tried raking it over to hide all the black marks but it didn't work

 

 

 

Back in the distant past while I was in Germany we used to clean up as best we could and re visit when the snow was gone.

 

We invoiced the jobs less 10% retention which was paid after the cleanup

 

Depending on how long the snow lasted (weeks rather than days) we had a lot of raking up to do. Fortunately there were a lot of landscapers with not much to do.

Your end is cut off from ours now the Greenfield road and Holme road have been shut all week haven't they ?

Same here mate, with my back injury and the snow its been 4 weeks off already, Looks like it will be 5 if the snow doesnt melt sharpish this week, Not seen snow like this for 20 years round my way!! :sneaky2::thumbdown::laugh1:

I bet you wondered what the hell it was at first, like one of those african kids seeing snow for the first time :lol:

 

I was brought up where we used to get 30ft even 40ft snow drifts

When i was a kid it used to snow pretty bad but hasnt done like this for years, A couple of weeks ago, It was alright, Christmasy, Lindsays lad was loving when he came over, Snow ball fights and all that, Now its a pain in the arse :thumbdown::laugh1:

Yes, if they keep closing roads and making no effort to clear them I am going to be asking for a rebate on my RFL. :thumbdown:
