The poor old Log Bullet has been feeling neglected of late, so what better way of resolving this than steep ground and dreadful access.

Does your crane struggle to slew with a load on even slightly steep ground? Mine does.

Most cranes struggle slewing with a load. Bring it in closer, and use the rotate to get it moving in the right direction before you start slewing.

Just too used to a digger which never struggles!

This is why forwarders got levelling rams tor the kingpost mount. The slewing is by rams working a rack against a  smallish diameter ring gear, poor torque but if it's level and the load in free air no problem. My cranab 4510 exerts a fair slewing force  for dragging long lengths but fails if it is not level, even with four 4" rams acting on the ring gear.

A digger has a motor with a small gear working on a large diameter ring gear doesn't it? Big mechanical advantage.
