Yes, that seems funny I suppose, but the English language uses many Welsh words also I’m sure that have been anglicised, it’s only when it goes the other way we tend to ridicule, like Gaelic up here. Have to say the Welsh are doing a far better job of keeping their language alive, 20% in Wales compared to 1% here.

I remember years ago I was working in Hayes, West London, and the markings on the road told pedestrians to “LOOK LEFT” on a two way street.  Talk about worse than useless.
