Removing chevrons from my van

I’m sure someone will know how to remove the red chevron stripes from the back doors of my transit connect. I’ve removed all the yellow stripes but the red stripes are very difficult to remove. I’m using an hair dryer and not a paint stripper airgun, the hair dryer is more friendly to the paint work.

the reason I want to remove the chevron stripes is that I’m having the van advertising my tree surgery business with graphics so the chevrons need to go.

any help or advice would be grateful. Cheers Paul

You'll be better of using a heat gun low setting. You can heat the pallel up as long as you can still touch it with your hand. It will get hot but wont bubble the paint. Then to remove the glue I think petrol on a rag works best.  you can buy tar&glue remover solvents but it's not very good at removing the stronger glues. But remember to give the panels a good wash after you remove the glue.
