Spark eroding is useful and cleaver but a bit boring . If its a core for a mold tool allow for spark gap on the electrode and then shrinkage  on the final molded component . ?

Here's a photo from me testing the flow on a spare cylinder before committing on modifying the transfer on a new one because it's a bit 'invasive' on an open port to eyebrow it:

 

 

It works much better than stock.
