srt set up

i see you have tidied up your set up mate, looking good:thumbup1:

 

:sneaky2:its more of a small cabin actually:thumbup1: the workshop/shed out the window is from b&q

 

yeah im pretty pleased with the set up at the moment, speaking to matt and chriss really helped that day at the show

but dont like putting elastic round my neck:confused1:

now sort of a longer bandolear at the mo

 

also john it best to store your ascenders closed

it does not do the springs any favours to store them open

 

but find it very rare to find an ascent long enough to bother getting it all out

I hear what your saying about the elastic round your neck i haven't found an alternative solution yet?

mine sort of goes over left shoulder and under left arm pit and clips back on

similar but safer imo and still works

I just use 1 ascender Backed up with a long prussik and a pantain. Very rarely use SRT to access but every time I do I think I should get it out more often. If I need to descend I take of the ascender and put a figure of 8 below the pussik.

 

Your setup looks good John. Do you have a descender for your SRT set up.

 

i have a fig8 on my harness but il allways have my drt system in a rope bag clipped to my harness as im using it for works access, i have decended the single line before on the figure of 8 not backed up though:blushing:
