Isn't jonsered now Rebaged huskies or are they different ?

Yep, both owned by Electrolux.
Buy an Echo, 4501 is for domestic/semi pro, 501 is pro spec.
Autotune and m-tronic saws don’t like sparodic use.

I'm in the market for a new saw to replace my ms291 which doesn't seem to put enough oil on the bar when in use, but leaks it out everywhere when its not.  I have been thinking about a 261 but there are times when i'm not using the saw (couple of months in the summer couple of days use in the week during autumn, winter, spring) would that be deemed sporadic?  I want to buy a pro saw for the build quality.

291 is classed as semi pro saw, same target market as 4501. Sounds like a problem with your Oil feed pipe, hardly worth buying a new saw over.
Build quality of the echo machines is far superior to both stihl and husqvarna, I’ve no experience of the dolmar saws so can’t speak of them...

Took out the oil pump filter and oil feed pipes cleaned them out yesterday . Still yet to try on wood but after a run up yesterday it’s ok but not great.

Prolly the oil pump behind clutch needs removing cleaning with a compressor and replacing. If still no good replace this
