Hi guys

 

 

looking at purchasing a new saw for forestry work. Something with a fair grunt behind it, not to heavy.

 

looking at the 560xp, what would people recommend

Have a 560xp after someone recommended it if it broke tomorrow i would go straight out and replace it. Put a sugihara bar on it and it runs sweet. Only little issue can be a pain to start when hot.

I have a 2014 560xp, has been faultless. 18" bar and 8 pin sprocket, modded exhaust, high top cover with 562 air filter. My most used saw.

560 on a 15inch bar is a good all rounder, it's usually the first one I pick up.

Its In your head I think . I have that set up . You can go a bit longer between cleanings though .

Agree with Stubby. However I think it helps the saw run a bit cooler, especially along with the muff mod. ( I have no scientific research to back this up!)

This is true . The very latest high top cover on the new 562 saws has a series of slots in the cover to help with the cooling .

550 xpg mark 2 or a 562xpg , after few months muffer mod them and you are a happy man .
