Last minute dash for firewood!

Taken 17 'phone calls since 7am today! I can only fulfill about 3 of them before Christmas . One call was from a guy in Australia wanting to buy 3 loads for his parents here, as a Christmas present!!!

I was thinking to myself that all those who sell firewood on here must be really busy now the snows come, Too bad you cant sort all 17 customers out TCD, would of been nice just before Xmas

I only cut firewood for our own burner but twice this week I have been stopped and asked if I sell logs. Good business there for someone if they have the time; the logs and the customers will pay a fair price....that is the main problem?

Took only one today.We've been busy as usual but not with the ''can you deliver before xmas'' thing like last year.We only cut to order and it really p's me off when people ask for seasoned wood at this time of the year.''last minute firewood.com'',talk about leaving it a bit late,they should buy it in the summer.

All anyone wants round here is seasoned wood. Very few buy green to season themselves......

delivered 3 loads this afternoon

Did 3 pick up loads today, and another 3 orders this morning. Hopefully fit them in before christmas. 3 pick up loads lined up for tomorrow and a 4 buliders bags Weds. And all by hand Busy Busy.

Ive had about 9-10 calls for full £100 loads over the weekend which I cannot do!! Ive totally sold out already. Will be getting it sorted for next year though.
