Not me, my two brothers. I'll start from when it went wrong. Mum died and me and my eldest brother were executors of the Will, it took an age to sort things out, in the meantime our middle brother, ( who's lived abroad) for many years was wanting his money, feck knows why, he ain't short, he accused by eldest brother of having him away, this wasn't the case, and he got his share, mum left a three way split. Now, he's coming over on Friday, apperntly he's been living in Italy for the last Six years. Our kid's family don't want anything to do with him, or his visit, Our Kid will suffer it if we meet on neutral ground. There is no question, I just think it's a sad state of affairs. There ain't many Ellis' left now.

Hope you can all get together and make it work. Life's short and we're a long time dead so sometimes things need to be let gone.

That’s families for you. I have a Sister who I was very close to, we used to speak to each other at least once every week. Then for some reason she does not reply to my emails, I have written to her and phoned on several occasions but she never replies to me. The last time I spoke to her was about four years ago when I asked her if I had upset her and she saint no. I don’t know what else I can do

Me too, I've said I will go upto Stoke and the three of us will go out for the evening. I don't want to take sides but it's going to be difficult. If middle brother sets his lip up I will side with my eldest brother. I'm really looking forward to this... Let's just hope it pans out  alright.

Families are strange. You know the saying you can pick your friends but not your family!!!!

I recently just got married and the crap and hoo harrr that went on through not inviting certain people was pathetic.

I’ll take that and raise it by:

I haven’t got enough time for the people I do like to have in my life to worry about the ones I don’t like...

Yes, and I'm with you, but this is my brother. He's an arrogant prick, I don't like the fella but we are few and far between. This could be the make or break. I'd rather make.
