thoughts?

If your army/your country is illegally killing and torturing and keeping it under wraps, I can understand why people blow the whistle.

Signing a piece of paper does not absolve you of human responsibility.

In a way, I agree with whistle blowing. But Assange broke his bail conditions and thinking that the law does not apply to him means that he should go to jail. His 7 years in an embassy is his fault, not the judiciary.

My views on people who sign up to obey orders and then commit a traitorous act may appear skewed but, the whole basis of the services is that you obey orders. Dirty things happen in war and that is a separate issue. If you don't like the principles of sign the OSA, then you don't sign up. Assange's organisation aided and abetted a crime. However distasteful the subject matter.

I’m as undecided as you.

That the yanks are desperate to get him attached to some car batteries means I have some sympathy.

But I don’t know enough tbh.

In One! Revealing the facts on US war crimes in Iraq. Hmm lil stop by in Pakistan  I reckon. And if those rape schemes weren't  a discreditation scam I am chinese. Cos we play the gentleman's game every time. ? k

Yes of course this is correct.  And this highlights why you should probably not join the military unless you really trust the politicians who tell the armed services whom to point their guns at.

I suspect some youngsters sign up with very good intentions and then have concerns over what they see.

MI6 and CIA agents lives were put at risk. The computer tracking technology they used was a good advantage until the hackers stole it and published it. Say if the top secret spyware was placed on a suspected ISIS computer by a CIA asset (someone undercover) when the details of this software were leaked then it was easy to find it on a computer and work out who could have installed it manually (not remotely)
