I would just buy the thing forget about taking CAT out,emissions,altitude and all that shit,stick some fuel in it and rag the hell out of it:thumbup:

Autotune will adjust the amount of fuel to the saw, this makes up for any small inconsistencies such as 40:1, there are plenty of people who prefer this as opposed to the 50:1.

I would say most mix at 50:1 thats what the saw is designed for and should run best at

Thats what my father runs in his little 251, and that thing gets some work.

Fair enough but when you say it gets some work does it do 8hrs a day 5 days a week

No, he cuts firewood, for a month at a time, from morning until evening 6 days a week, 

am just saying 50:1 definitely has worked for him.

I know a few fellows who cut firewood for a living, and they don't over do it with oil, slightly more than the 100 ml to the 5 liters, and they never lost a saw.
