Maybe get the small genny for chargers lights etc and then get petrol powered versions of the bigger items such as pressure washer? Quick look for petrol pressure washer starting around the £200 mark.

Mate bought one of these for his yard, his needs similar to yours, said it been faultless
Don’t think you’ll get Honda 5kva genny much cheaper?

Yeah I think I might need to get a bigger wallet. Ok great thanks for this I’ll look in to them all over the weekend.

No way you can get on without a Honda gas or a Hatz or a Yanmar diesel.

When going with one of them, you ensure, that the electronics are quality parts as well, they last and are reliable.

No point in spending any coin in something that declines to start or to deliver power when needed, than all money is lost as well as your days work.

Diesel is loud but efficient and lasts forever, Honda is really quite.

Be patient on the bay: caught a slightly used Honda for 50,- and a brand new yanmar for 300,- including tax. Well worth the search.

Thanks. I’ll keep and eye on eBay. I’m in no immediate rush and I’ve managed for 4 years without one so another few months won’t make a difference.

Ive got a pramac 6000s, think it's a kubota or hatz diesel in it. It's a grand little genny that runs the compressor and 9 inch grinder with ease. It's not completely silent but it's bearable when your 10 foot away. Isn't there a member on here called genset Steve, he might be able to help on any info you need.
