The licence after passing could come back in 10 days BUT if you booked a course & test and then it does not come back in time you loose your money. So best to wait till its in your hand.

Did it out of simonswood (if thats how its spelt) test station, its shut now also i think, my C tutor (Rodger) died of cancer about 8yrs ago and my CE tutor (Ken) got diagnosed with it about 2 yrs ago. Shitty and sad news ☹️

13-7-07 for C and 17-8-07 for CE, bizzare cos i did my tests week after each other, C was in a volvo F6 i think and CE was in a FL10, both with manual box. I believe you can now take your test in an i-shift and still claim a manual licence from it if you passed your car test in a manual? Scary cos auto wagons vary hugely from manuals. And you know what its like when you start stirring soup and playing the juke box on a hill [emoji849][emoji6]?

I wonder if they were playing games with the system.

Some lorry & bus companies have their own approved testers but only for their own staff.

I wonder if they held the test till the first licence was issued then sent in the second forward dated.

I wonder if a simpler route would be to get something 3.5t plus and just apply for forestry exemption? Would anyone argue with you that this wasn't for forestry:
