Do you know which is cheaper to run fuel wise?

dunno why yer hung up on economy as they will all guzzle a bit when used as intended.  I never consider economy as i just keep filling them up and earning.

But the Jap stuff tends to be more reliable Der' . Those Renault trucks often have the clutch hydraulic cylinder inside the gearbox bell, have had two go on me and it's two days to fix as Renault say they only last 50 to 80 thousand miles ! K

Mainly a vdub transporter for small jobs, i usually mince the branches in the back with a saw, i hire caged tippers mainly a vdub or trani. Sometimes borrow a frienda ancient trani too. So much hassel, so need to take the plunge

We run a grafter and a cabstar, both fairly new.

To my mind the grafter is a better truck, handles weight better and generally built a bit stronger.

Bouncy suspension and worse on fuel though.

We've had more electrical faults(warning lights for dpf and traction control) on both vans than I would like for new trucks.
