Has anyone found a cheaper solution to replacing the throttle cable on a timberwolf tw230? 

 

Cable has snapped and spectrum only sell the full assembly for 70.00 inc vat!

 

all for a snapped cable.... any old school folk out there with wire and soilder nipples ?

Cris buy a cable making kit from Venhills https://www.venhill.co.uk/cables-amp-components/workshop-kits.html

You can make up just about anything you like in less time than it takes to reply to this post. There is enough in one of their kits to make up dozens of cables. Or if you cant be arsed send them a pattern and they will make it for a fraction of the oem`s price

We've fitted throttle cables to GreenMech's under warranty before now. Think its practically the same assembly.
