Attached to top of guard Andy ran off the onboard 12v system, got that pic off the inter web but something similar. Not much daylight in Aberdeenshire at the moment lol. Beams are for a split level drive and pathway set up at the lads house, they will be laid flat and  used to keep two different levels of gravel apart and be morticed out to have uprights for a fence fitted into them.

Good idea! Let me know what you come up with so I can copy it. :D

Been wrestling some big macrocarpa onto the lt15. A lot of it is going for cladding. Really need a dust extraction system. Between milling and planing the whole shed is covered in a layer of dust.
Some nice looking pieces in it. One of these days I'll post a pic of what I'm doing with all this maccie. 20191020_174405.jpeg20191019_190104.jpeg20191021_204239.jpeg20191022_210720.jpeg20191021_204312.jpeg

that must smell fantastic...

We brought a lot of timber back in the last few weeks. Milled a bit too, a mix of lawson cypress and Scots pine as well as the macrocarpa. a lot of leylandi chip too and some spruce to top it off. On a crisp morning the yard smells fantastic. I can stand there for a few minutes and just enjoy it. Sunrise, birds singing and the thick smell of freshly cut timber and warm fresh chip.

2 days felling, extracting and milling nice douglas. Over 100cu ft cut then day and half cutting Wellingtonia, over 900 linear meters of cladding. Loving the new loader too

So I threw a 2m Oak log on the Mill after mounting it on the Trailer for a trial run. It had ring shake so paid about £15 for the log. :D

Was a bit of rot but still managed to get a few 2" x 8" and a nice 8" x 8" beam outta the heart.
