How frustrating! Im yet to find any nails yet thankfully. Left an interesting stain in the wood if nothing else?

No, every picture Ive ever posted has been ripped off of the net......

 

I should clarify that Ive never found a nail when using my Bandsaw Mill. Ive found plenty when Alaskan Milling. But since Dave was Milling with his Bandsaw I replied to his post in context. Hitting a nail with a Chain is annoying but rectifiable. I'l assume it kills your Bandsaw Blade. Bit of a difference I think.

Ah bugger so he was. I was on my phone at the time and can see it more clearly on my Laptop.

Yeah Alaskan Andy, luckily only a 36 inch chain and the little granberg sharpener was still lying around set up. Chain was a bloody mess like but hey ho eh.

Handy those little Granberg's eh? Did you nee to remove much material off the Chain?
