Yeah, I thought that.

Looked at the price of walnut rifle stock the other day, think I might mill a 3" slab out of the middle of this and set it aside.

Hi mate the thing about gun stock is that is the very very best British walnut that can be found that makes the top money some stock makers will try and find big root stock or burr and for that you are talking thousands and then you need the rest of the gun but just for an average gun should be cool ,hope you make some cash

I'm starting to think farmers in Yorkshire are minted.
I mean...
How do you stop unwanted access to your field?
With 8 feet of oak burr.

Not minted mate but like 95% of the UK population just uneducated when it comes to timber
