Depends on how high I am, under 80’ anything goes, after that I get twitchy!


Lol, same, I am not sure of my exact exact height of perceived safety but regardless of what the terrain is like underneath, below it I will swing and jump on ageing kit without a care in the world, one foot above it and all of a sudden everything becomes thin, warn, tatty and untrustworthy! [emoji23]

Is that the same one as at bottom of tree swing about off of a small anchor point, get over 80ft and you want a much more substantial  anchor point and they ain't there anymore. Its all in the mind

I'll start throwing away biners when all of my hammock attachment points, light fittings and gear hooks in the shed, dog leads, and mushroom basket/seaweed bucket lanyards are all triple locking alloys with micro pulleys. Until then, they all have a use.
