Hopefully the tracker/data tag/whatever security on the machine would get the machine back to me

I was just thinking about this driving home - if their chipper had a tracker they could have had someone in hot persuit presumably possibly.

Is there really a scanner device that thieves have to find a tracker so they can cut it out? Suppose there must be or it wouldnt have been mentioned before.

Obviously I don't know the exact circumstances,  but surely approaching someone with a running chainsaw trumps a knife.

Maybe it was a gang of 8 or so.

It would have to be, wouldn't it, to keep a crew at bay and hitch a chipper up and get away??

I reckon you’d still do 8 with a saw on full chat.
