Monkey winches are beasts , designed to pull out trucks in ww2 I believe, you need two or three men to pick one up though.
The large tirfors are not too bad and a hell of a lot more usable.
The small rip off Chinese versions are good but have there limits... I’ve found them !IMG_7683.jpg

Well I didn't buy my endless rope winch with the intention of pulling tree's over though it might come in handy one day for that..

 

I bought it based on a calculation..  price and utility..
