I'm looking to invest i n buying chainsaw chain in bilk, usually buy Oregon chains from the local shop. Which makes to people use out there, Rotatech, Sarp, Archer are all cheaper per 100' reels but are they worse than Oregon?

Anyone use these and advise?

if your cutting trees in peoples gardens where the trees are generally full of nails and washing lines, the ready made Rotatech loops offer good value for money, i have just ordered (expecting del today) 17 chains for various saws from 14"-25" for a shitty old windblown job no nails but plenty of grit/soil on timber £124+VAT if i was buying stihl or oregon 5 chains would cost me that, buy a few and try em,

Definately Rotatech if yr on dodgy timber ,  we hit scrap as much as nails in trunks. Nothing sadderer than lovely new oregon chain biting a bit of scrap rail in the brambles :( k

Another vote for rotatech from me, I actually prefer them to oregon after trying a few side by side recently and they're much cheaper.

Don’t you find that your always tightening the damn rotatech ones?!emoji31.png

Only after the first use, I don't think they're as well pre stretched as they could be but it's that one time tighten.

Turn yr oiler up ? They can't keep stretching once the links have bedded in. K

I woke up on my last day of being in my twenties earlier, expecting a blowjob. Whilst I hope you get the happy ending that I never had, I expect our experiences will be similar.
