impressive range for lr22 that and that sniper shot is bloody impressive, about 3 mths ago i was flicking through tv channels and came across a program about snipers and there training and it was very impressive at what they where doing, 30 seconds to fire 5 x 50 cal rounds at a target at 1500 mtrs all bullets through the same hole hence the hole got to about an inch in diameter,, i thought that was not bad at that range and in the time given to compleat the task,, very impressive,, and my tea went cold watching it,

Many years ago I spent an evening shooting rats with an ex army sniper.
Only air rifles at 30 yards.
I don't think I got a shot off.
He'd see, lift his rifle, aim and fire before I'd turned to see the rat.
He didn't miss.
Bit of a massacre.
Peanut butter on a plank.

4-5000 is pushing things for a 50cal round... i don’t think a .22 will go that far,

A .375 Gibbs, like a CheyTac, only better, for the extreme stuff.

Also hitting a 24" steel plate with a 45-70 Marlin brush rifle, at 1067 yds, standing, unsupported !

Not the first shot, nor every shot, but still  .  .  .

Astounding stuff
