i have a modded crossman ratcatcher running 11ftlb in .22 and it’s deadly out to 35yds which with squirrels and headshots is more than enough. a .177 just gives a flatter trajectory but less retained energy.

So . Exactly what I posted then . 28ftlbs and over .22 is fine .

The video is just with my night vision set up. I shoot [emoji883] with sub 12 .22 at 25 m. 177 or 22 at appropriate zero, aim, compatible pellet and job done

I have the same . Fully moderated fold up .

Interesting Stubby, is the barrel drilled all the way up or is that just an over the barrel mod? Is the chamber 3"? Just curious as I quite like .410s

One thing I've found with using a shotgun is some squirrels can be very wise, either scampering out of range, hiding round the back of a tree or in dense ivy. If you've got loads of 'em I expect you'd get the numbers down greatly.

The moderator is the full length of the barrel   but just cross drilled a few times ( can't remember how many )  at the muzzle end .  It is chambered for 3"  .  If you use 2" it is about the same loudness as an un silenced air rifle . If you fire it without the mod on its as loud as a 12 bore .
