back to my original post, it seems all of us on here are adapting, which is great. Migration takes a lot of guts but could be a mistake(thats what i always wanted to do, was run away from my problems) and no one wants to perish, but i bet we all know a few that have:thumbdown:

The thing with emigrating is all the family and roots you leave behind.

 

By roots I mean all the places from your childhood and adolescence. I can go to the place where I popped the question to our lass and where I used to pay as a kid.

 

This sort of thing means a lot to me.

i have no desire to emigrate...imo if i cant succeed in this country, why would any other country be any different

 

My brother in law is doing REALLY well in the USA, over there the hard worker is rewarded, over here it seems the less you do the more you get.

me too dave, i took xander to the pool today, it was the same pool i used to go to as a kid, i see folk i was at school with every day and i have been doing the same hedges since i was 14, some folk would hate that but it makes me feel secure in some way

the guy i was talking today has just returned from america and really sees the diference, he worries for the younger generation and cant see how self employed guys can manage over here, the more we do the more we get taken off us:thumbdown:

which is why the government would love for us all to be self employed.:sneaky2:
