Brilliant .....and it really does work if you balance family and work properly.

I FULLY AGREE. An xbox 360 elite is only really fun at 8 years old when you have someone to play it with you. Time with the kids is precious and I AM spending more and more with them, but I also never want to limit the possibilities of my business. Getting the balance will be hard.

great plan huck, i worked with my father and so did you, if my boys wanted to go into tree work then they can go and work for someone else, get all their gung ho testesterone out on some elses insurance lol, then when they have calmed down they can come on board, but i dont reckon i will still be doing this by then, i want to do diferent things but i still need the money coming in, who knows where things will go, but if i do my job as a dad right then they will be well aware of hard graft and appreciate and respect others, now if one wanted to climb and the other be a mechanic then i will buy them a mog and sell them the business lol

I have two sons, my eldest is nearly 14 and wants to come on board, thats the only time I will contemplate growing my Co, if he does OK he can run his own crew and we will have two gangs.

If his brother , who is nearly 13 wants to joint too same goes for him.

And my two girls if they fancy.

This is the point i'm trying to make. I have 2 boys and i would never force them into the treeworld that I live in, but I do want to have a thriving business that they can just slip into if they want. I have 10 years till Aaron is 18 and that is part of my 10 year plan, and 18 years till Oliver is 18 so that is part of my 20 year plan. Growth will be at a minimum rate but hopefully at maximum potential. I would soooooo loved to have joined my dads business when I was younger, no matter what he did as a trade, but he didnt have a business. He just worked for a company in an office. Aaron takes pictures of me climbing trees to school, then when I pic him up his little buddies ask what trees I've been climbing etc. Its ACE. Aaron gets real proud and chuffed with his self.

The thing is HOPEFULLY we will be able to help our boys to get a start in whatever THEY want to do!!

If I can do that all the years of graft will have been worth while!!!
