Did my first dive yesterday.  Astonishing feeling, ain't even swam for ten years, very anxious but once you realise it works- Definately worth the 25 squid instructor notices quite a lot of tree guys turn up in subaqua.

Did it years ago . ( twin hose Royal Mistral )  single stage regulator , a bit " on , off " Luxfor 72qube aluminum cylinder . Hope you enjoy it Khriss .

I went with my kids this summer in Cro atia. I am (was)qualified as a Dive Master but had not been diving for about 14 years..

Yea Mr Stubby, gf is v experienced wreck n deep water diver so I thought I would give it a go, Gatwick Scuba are fab ! Dive pool was like getting into hot bath ! Definately surreal lying on bottom of pool looking at surface n hearing yr exhail roaring to surface, I certainly will be doing Padi course with them. K

Pretty dissapointed, I had assumed this thread was about Brian blessed, hawkmen and lasers.

I got open water padi a few years back. Diving is awesome. About as off this planet as you can feel and still be on it.

Did my open water in Australia many years ago. My girlfriend was a bit seasick and she vomitted through the respirator 18m down. We got to see plenty of fish though as they all came and ate the spew.
One of the days diving was postponed due to a storm so the instructors took us all to the pub. Two blokes came In who's fishing boat had capsized in the storm and they swam the two miles to shore.....And then they went for a beer!

Was a worry of mine, Chris, chunky lumps in yr respirator @@ god- a great first dive-much better than gf's as her dive buddy got out of pool n wouldn't come back in ! Again-having good instructor is priceless. K
