Its a train wreck because it’s like a vegetarian trying to throw a BBQ. Lol

If we’d had someone that BELIEVED in liberation running the show, it’d be a whole different show right now

Yes but it’s liberation from prosperity. I can’t wait the decades it will take for the country to recover. Even the most ardent little Englanders admit its gonna cost us

What do you suggest we do? The British Elite gave us a vote, "We" voted out. Are you suggesting we shouldn't go with democracy?

If, and that's a big if, we don't leave, me and politics will be finished. That'll learn 'em.

Come on, I've voted in every election for the last 30 years. It hasn't gone the way I wanted it to more times than it has,That's tuff, but it's how democracy works.

P.S.

As an independant minded sort, I am happy put a £££££ price(in the short term only) on my relative freedoms within the UK.

i.e. out of the European Federal State.

Re the possible short-term costs of leaving the EC.

And thinking of that time proved expression, good fences make for good neighbours.

Accountability does not scale up, the bigger the state, the more removed are the mandarins from the electorate, and the greater the inefficiencies and waste.

This wisdom applies in the business world too.

e6Gz by and large I have kept out of this brexit debate but this is my take on it. A very smug conservative government that thought brexit could never happen offered the largely  uninformed  British people the referendum. The public were then bombed with all the negatives that the EU brings on top of many falsehoods a brexit would deliver. Negatives on immigration, the NHS  contributions to the EU and many more were hyped which definitely influence a vote , now the truth and facts have emerged why should the people not have the final say ? Its a bit like being in a football stadium with 25,000 hooligans on your left wanting to smash fuck out of the  town and kick the shit out of the other fans , on your right is one solicitor thats telling you its not a good idea. Which way do you run?

Just sayin

So, like... You want to vote until you get the result you desire?

I agree that it was the arrogance of Cameron, and his advisors, (who voted for him?), but we are where we are.

I tell you what b0D, next time we have a general election we'll all keep voting until Corbyn gets into Downing Street, (you should know I want that as much as you do).

Whether it's a referendum, or general election we are like mushrooms, kept in the dark, and...

We've made our bed, now we've got to lye in it.

Anyone that doesn’t see it the way I see it must be un informed...

Thats a justification to keep re-running the question until the desired outcome is achieved....

arrogance of Cameron,

Was it arrogance?

He was Shanghai’d Into the Neverendum by UKIP and Tory pro democracy / anti fascist euro sceptics. He didn’t want to do it.

Is it your assertion that his “arrogance” was in the failure to predict the outcome?
