I've just had the same thing with nfu...last year for liability and kit £2100

This year (December Renewal) they wanted £6500 when I asked what happened they said that they have gone over to a different system !!!

i got kit and pl with trust for 1600, might have to take on a 2nd climber and they could do employe insurance for another 600. been with them 3 years and no complaints

I thought EL was compulsory because when you are climbing there has to be at least two of you?

my girlfriend is my business partner and a climber so we dont need el just yet, gettin swamped with big trees at the mo so another climber/groundy would be handy

Yes, I had quotes from both of them, I went with arbinsure.

The guy ive been subbing too recently got a qoute from Arbinsure and was very happy with it, Ive heard from other people they are very good, ill be contacting them myself in the new year
