Young tractor drivers?

I forget which thread it was discussed in recently regarding the lack of training needed for younger drivers to drive tractors.

Both drivers in their 20's apparently, and acting like idiots by all accounts.

They were clearly racing.  2 tractor drivers heading to the same location have no reason to be in different lanes

Without a doubt, but that’s what they do. Chuck a set of keys to a teenager and boys will be boys.

 

As ‘accidents’ go, it looks like a good one where no one got hurt or killed. The sheer stupidity of it beggars belief, but that manner of driving is fairly common place IME

Bit harsh, mate. I'm sure it will have been somebody else's fault. It normally is.

He is lucky tractor stayed on its wheels, would like to heard what lorry drivers said to him if they had which it looks like if they were going that way. Hope van driver hands it in to police as evidence .

If you look closely they seem to be different bales so I'm guessing they weren't going to the same place. Looks like the the second driver was in a faster tractor and thought it would be a good idea to overtake on a sharp corner with a higher load...

Just took the corner to quickly, inexperience. Must admit I used to be a bit of a yob grain carting as a kid but bale chasers still made me nervous when they were coming the other way, but I know they were all always pushed

2nd trailer was riding up on roundabout if you watch it, he’d be concentrating on his front left corner not touching the 1st outfit and not paying any attention to his own o/s rear.... hence the roll over, speed wont of helped but its up on the roundabout momentum thats turned him.
Tractor tests are a joke, should have harsher tests and rules to abide to. Same with moped training. Lucky lad like woody paul said, could easily of nipped on hitch and rolled tractor over too.
