Had my 550xp stolen about 6 weeks ago. Been struggling by with my little makita li ion top handle. Love that little saw but obviously it's not up to bigger stuff or doing things quickly.

Anyhow, haven't cut a thing with it yet. Just put oil and fuel in it and started it on the weekend. Initial impressions are..... very sexy.

Anyone own one?

Yeah, lovely saw, replaced my 12 year old 357 with a 560, has a bit more go in it and a bit lighter, although I have had to replace an oil pump and worm which was a bit disappointing as it hasn't done much work really. Nice saw to use though ?

Cheers mate. Yeah I'd read that some get problems with them so I ummed and aghed about it for the last month and just decided to pull the trigger. I'm usually quite lucky with mechanical tools so fingers crossed. Vehicles on the other hand.....

We’ve had a couple and user wise they are excellent saws. Very good power to weight.
Premixed fuel is probably best to use in it as the auto tune tends to be a finnickity.
If you liked the 550 you’ll love the 560.
Hope it serves you well.

Yes had one about a year. Great saw with lots of go. I was wary due to early reported problems but dealer reckoned these were ironed out as long as you use the right oil now. Cant fault it

I get on well with ours. Really good all round saw, can occasionally be awkward to start but that's rare and a replacement oil pump is the only fix in 2 years.
