Vehicle's & Tax!

Recommended Posts

I use this one:

https://www.accountingweb.co.uk/

its like Arbtalk for accountants (but without the razor sharp wit, cutting sarcasm, outrageous humour, humbling humility and general community love....)

Its unlikely you’ll spend any recreational time catching up with mates, having a laugh, taking the urine on there....  Just log in, seek the answer and bail out as soon as possible - it’s dryer than the Gobi  desert [emoji248]

PS - I haven’t seen Matelot or Vesp in there yet unless they’re masquerading under pseudonyms!!!??

Sounds interesting MrJ... do some of the more accomplished and respected ones shoot GoPro footage of their work while sat at their desks? I bet it’s enthralling to watch.

I bet some of the threads get heated too....
Quickbooks v excel spreadsheets......
Best calculator??

Hi All,

I would like to know (as my new accountant seems a bit confused as I am now!) can I buy  outright or via a business lease

An accountant is merely a glorified book keeper and are generally not a good source for tips and tricks on tax evasion or avoidance. Speak to a tax consultant.

Hell Bob!  Those are 'naughty' words....

Did you mean 'efficiency' and 'awareness' so as not to OVERPAY that which might be legally, morally and culturally appropriate....????   ??

I'm sure a double cab can be put against the buisness . (Mine was) but a single cab can't be. (Strange I know)

Sounds like you’re mixing up yr regs there (easily done since it’s not exactly straight forward!)

A single cab PU would be eligible for AIA but may not qualify as a DPV.

Apples and oranges...

You could say one is for load carrying and towing the chipper and the other is for quoting and pulling a trailer for the timber on a job....or stump grinder (“....insert towed plant option here......”)
All pretty plausible and reasonable erm .......reasons !!???
