I should stress though that the traffic in the Central Belt can be awful (West Lothian has three times the population density of Devon). I had a dreadful run into Edinburgh a few weeks ago at rush hour where my average speed for 14 miles was 11mph.

Don't ever go to London mate.

( did try to find their Ad fr staff - but looks like Groundcontrol are desperate - If you just swing Cornwall round a bit in the Irish sea an park it abt Runcorne - just near the Lidls - then everyones a winner ! )

Yeah, 5 minutes from junction 28 on the M5. Going to try to stick to the larger roads, by and large. I'll be 40ft long with the van and trailer, and just don't fancy those Devon lanes.

I'd be happy to come down to Ashburton should you have a use for me. With the band tracks, I ought be able to work on some of that famous peat bog.

Hi J, I used to drive a U2100 around those lanes with a serra bavaria on the back, they're not too bad. I was based just outside Cullompton too. I have a few contacts in the area although I'm somewhat east of there now, PM if you like.
