Bit far for me to drop it off, I’m just South of Newbury. You’re welcome to pick it up, or can box it and post it. PM me if you like

They're not 100% consistent on angle and with too much pressure can overheat the cutters but for a heavily damaged chain can save a ballache of filing. On 190 drivelink lucas mill chains its an essential bit of kit. Learn to hand sharpen well and you'll get better edges but every tool has a good and a bad side. This machine will get you out of trouble but wont make you a better edger of chain.

In comparison to oregon models consider it disposable.

For the money I would describe as ridiculously good value. Will not leave a better edge than file  but will do a decent job while evening up the teeth length. Several light touches instead of one heavy handed cut stops overheating. The weakest point is the stop but if you lightly hold the chain in one hand pulling it back into the stop you can get good consistent edges.

Best value sharpener there is. Great for reclaiming knackered chains.
I keep a jar of oil and water with a toothbrush by the side of it and brush the oil and water on the cutters as I sharpen so it stops the edges case hardening.
