ART SnakeAnchor

I’ve been looking into getting the ART Snakeanchor and am unsure whether to get the 2.5m or 5m version. I don’t want to get the 2.5m one and find it’s too small for most trees but I also don’t want something that’s massively too long. 

 

Does anyone else use one and what length do you have?

depends what size trees you normally work on and if you use it when chogging down stems. I use a pulleysaver and just daisy chain to keep tail out of the way. Personally I would get the longer one.

i'd find 5m too long personally.  theres other options if you have a big stem to block down

Cheers for the replies guys. Just to clarify I’d Be using this for an SRT base anchor only. I have the ropeguide if I ever need it for stem work ?.

I’ve got one but unsure of the size ... think it could be the 2.5 m as I’m sure I’ve come across a few trees it’s been too small on.. either way a bowline is still does the job if not.

I've got the long one. It is too long most times but too short one day would be annoying.

I’ve got the short one use it as a tip anchor as well which works well
