Woke up Saturday morning to find the workshop door not just open but completely off its

hinges and leaning into the doorway.

Yep we'd had unwanted nocturnal visitors again!3rd time in less than 2 yrs.

Fortunately they didn't get anything of huge value as we no longer keep tools in there, everything

is stored off site in one of those 24hr store room places.

However, in order to gain access to the door they had to move my truck and to do that they cut

the handbrake cable and prised the vehicle back using a length of wood from my neighbours property,

as it was in gear as well.

Five days before, I'd undergone a procedure to get my back into rhythm but the shock of discovering

the break in immediately knocked it back out which resulted with me being rushed to hospital and

spending 5 hours in A&E.

And what do you think the police response to all this was, they said it wasn't something they would be bothered with!

Sorry to here about this again. Amazing how persistent these scumbags are. Some of the farms I'm working on have had a few of them. They have found the alarm guns with trip wires seem to be working the 12 gauge ones. Hope your feeling better soon.

Wouldn't it be more effective to perhaps shoot the police first and then rock on with proper law to the scumbags ? Saves the cost of the useless phonecall.

- oh that already happens......... its called America.

The little darlings got stain on their hands from spilling a tin of van dyke crystals, then tried to break into my neighbours caravan and left a full hand print on the door, when my neighbour phoned the police they told her they didn't send the finger print guys out anymore!

I've been told about reg alarm mines by an ex copper mate of mine although he says I've got to use blanks, can't see the deterrent in using blanks!

Besides first time I was burgled plod asked if there was any blood, at least using live cartridges I'd be able to give them blood and limbs.
