yep - still same place for me, chris the head gardener got promoted in summer so its now James who is head gardener, came from inverewe. He is a good climber and gardener so thats a boost.

yeah he is a local lad anyway from Tarland so all good. You have a good break?

Yep good to get away and recharge, lost broadband which was a plus as lightning took out the exchange. Weather good 3-5 degrees and couple of inches of snow at sea level

This is good..Davie has a couple, I know of at least three from college if not more and two I work with, Aicchalmers is in and htb you have a couple? So what's that around ten?

 

Davie can you see if your boss could ask around?

 

I'll see if I can get any interest from anyone else I've worked with.

Aicchalmers reckon some of your class would be as well?

Ah you're a David too?

 

It's not cheap but I'd say it's not bad for a day course and it's cheaper if you're an AA member.

 

I've attached the prices for the course running in Preston in December. I'd imagine it would be the same cost.

 

I would remind them that it can be claimed back in their tax

If they don't run things up north then of course no one will go. To say no one will go to events up north eventually becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy arising from the lack of interest the AA shows in actually doing anything. I've recently started to question if my AA subs would not be better off staying in my pocket, but I have convinced myself to renew this year, I just can't remember how I convinced myself or why.

Must admit.... ive thought about not re newing membership next year also
