I have a Morbark WTC , its got a 200hp cummins engine which is the only bit that parts are available for in the UK. All the bearings and belts etc cant be matched with generic UK parts which is a bit of a pain. It ingested a rather large lump of steel a few years ago and is out of action until I find the time to overhaul it. Will post up pics when I drag it in.

Do you think they worth getting then? Or just to much trouble if they need a major repair?

If you want a very large chipper and support why not a bandit? There is the spares network here and dealer support

I'd love a bandit, however they are Money with a capital m. I've just seen a morbak for a couple of grand, it needs repairs which I figured I could chuck 5 or 6 grand at it to get it up to spec but now seeing the feedback it seems it may be more trouble than it's worth.

I have used Morbark chippers quite a bit  ( down here in Devon ) and only familiar with the drum type  ( not really sure of model no  ) which are brilliant and very well made and know of two still in regular use one in excellent order with a 30hp yanmar ( I think )  six inch capacity I think but are great on twisted  bushy growth  as feed hole and roller are quite big , and the other a right donkey with an old air cooled diesel twin cylnder  that really is on its last leg .
