What knots do you teach your groundies?

Why is it so hard to get stuff sent up to me properly?  I always teach just 2 knots which cover anything that might need sent up to me.  First is a clove hitch, for anything that needs to be clipped on.  This is my knot of choice as it just falls apart after you unclip the krab.  Second is a reef knot, for having seocnd line/rigging line sent up etc.

Both are incredibly easy to learn, yet I still end up having things sent up the tree with the most bizarre knots imaginable.  Is there an easier way to teach these simple knots that I am missing?

Just leave a carabiner on end of rope quicker still for groundy just clip on what ever you need if some thing a problem to clip on just use a strap loop.
