loading ramps for transit tipper

im looking for some advice on loading ramps for a transit tipper.

ideally they would be able to fold to save space.

there are a few available online but unsure if they would be suitable given the height of the tipper bed.

ive been using some heavy duty fixed steel ifor ramps from my TT85, but take up alot of space and are a pain to load and unload, i also need to have the bed slightly tipped to allow for deck clearance on the mower.

the ramps will be used to load stump grinder and ride on mower so need to be able to take 400-500kg.

any help would be appreciated

We have had alloy ramps for our trucks and the Sara ramps are good. Some ramps come with decent carry handles for them too. One point to remember mind.....security. Make sure that you have a decent lock and chain if the are getting left any where.

My biggest worry with non specific ramps is them coming loose whilst loading. The mention of couple of holes and bolts is obviously a good fix. The last thing you want is one slipping when you are over a metre height.

I have the standard ifor ones to go on my 3017 tipper. They clip on very securely. I went for steel so I could weld on a point to attached chains so I could lock them in situ.
