Quiet in this department so I am going to bore you shitless with a stake knocker Mick made up for the landscape lads. Over 1000  450mm wooden  stakes to bang in on hard old ground to support the timber edge of a footpath.

Just a big slide hammer, initially was not heavy enough so added another lump onto the hammer, works a treat , easy to keep upright , dont need to bend over , dont need to trust the other guy with a hammer and wont damage the stakes.

You can go back to sleep now :)

well made!

I've made similar for bamboo canes when planting whips.

my version had a sticky out foot for easy ground, and it also makes all the canes the exact same height. (which the trees don't care about, and makes no reasonable sensible difference at all, but my cdo requires it)

Timon.

Tarting up all the kit ATM @TIMON so included the stake knocker.

Added a foot bar across the bottom of the knocker which helps stop the stake rotating.
