I have a 10 plate 110, only 20k on the clock. If I drive at or over 50k for more than 40 mins the coolant spurts out the overflow, the temp gauge shoots up and it goes into a limp mode. After 2 mins temp gauge goes back down again.

Been into 2 different land rover garages that can't find anything wrong.

Does anyone have any ideas or help

I was in a defender that was doing exactly this the other day- also a 2.4 engine. It belonged to the National park. I'm sure he said it was a split hose that was the cause- not sure what hose he meant though sorry!
