saws been looked at and runs exactly how they supposed to and to be honest its ran the same from the first tank. but just seems a little slower in the cut and lessy grunty than a 395xp ported. So it could just be me feeling like its not performing as i would hoped

I have a spud ported 460 which is stunning and have had my 661 about a year and have felt the same as you. It has the torque for a 36 bar when needed but if you aren't in a rush.

Feel it should run a bit better, however it's probably set up so that runs for ever not sure my 460 will (no offence spud I am delighted with it still).

A couple of the 661's I have used in the past have got sigjificantly better after about 10 tanks.

I have a 660 that Steve ported. It cuts like stinks and is very loud. Not sure how the 661 would respond.

Do the 661's have the computer tuned carb? Would that create an issue with tuning after the porting work had been completed?

there got to be something to try and get a bit more from the saw. the saw had done three 5 litre cans of aspen so u would have thought it done its bedin period and should open up a bit more on power but still runs like day one
