whats the best chain on a 460

ive got a stihl 460 with a 25 inch bar that is mainly used on hard wood, was wondering whats the best chain to run on it? standard, semi skip or full skip? thanks in advance

Ive always used full chisel so I don't know if the alternatives are better?

Full chisel, that goes for all saws imo.

Full chisel, although don't agree for all saws. I like semi on the 880. I think skip chain is also for larger saws although I have never personally tried it

Why do you prefer a semi on the 880? Less sharpening ringing up dirty stems?

always figured semi chisel blunts at the same rate as fukk chisel, but the fact that semi chisel is shite to begin with means you don't notice
